FX and Sound

Image
The audio file is a 42.6-second track that uses stereo sound and fades to create a smooth and immersive experience. The fade-in at the beginning and fade-out at the end are clear and well-done, making the transitions feel natural. The mix includes reverb and footsteps that add texture and help tell a story through sound. Strengths The fades are a standout feature, giving the track a professional finish and helping everything flow together nicely. Another strong point is the stereo balance, which keeps the left and right channels even, so the sound feels clear and immersive without favoring one side. Improvements To make the track even better, the reverb effects could have more variety to create a stronger sense of space and realism. Also, the footsteps could be more dynamic, with clearer transitions like stopping, turning, or running, to make the scene feel more lifelike.

04 Painted Portrait

Image
In this piece, I worked to combine black-and-white photography with vibrant digital painting techniques. I set the original photo to Multiply layer mode, which allowed the grayscale tones to blend seamlessly with the colors I painted on the layers below. My goal was to transform the photograph into something dynamic and expressive while maintaining its original texture and depth. I used realistic skin tones and added bold colors, like the vibrant red for the clothing and an earthy tone for the hat, to create a strong visual balance. I paid close attention to shading and layering multiple hues, especially around the face, to add dimension and keep the subject’s features true to life. For the background, I experimented with abstract vertical patterns to create contrast and give the piece a more modern, stylized feel.  Looking back, I feel that the black-and-white abstract background patterns could have been better integrated. Cleaning up the edges and refining the design would...

03 Self Portrait

Image
In this vectorized self-portrait, I translated a "head and shoulders" selfie into a stylized digital illustration using Adobe Illustrator. My goal was to create a clean and minimalist aesthetic that still captured recognizable details of my features. I focused on using flat, layered colors to simplify the composition while adding depth and personality to the piece. I used the pen tool to trace my features, creating smooth transitions between the shapes that define my face, hair, and background. Layering was an important technique I used to achieve a sense of dimension, allowing the overlapping shapes to create a balanced composition. The muted color palette I chose reflects a warm and approachable tone, while subtle variations in the shadows and highlights help distinguish different areas of the portrait.  While the simplicity is admirable, incorporating a few accent colors might have made the design more visually dynamic without overwhelming the aesthetic.

Animated Logo

Description of the Animation: The animated version of your "KSS" logo looks professional and creative. The initials "KSS" slide smoothly into the center of the screen from the left, while a circle outline grows from nothing to fully surround the text. The animation feels clean and simple, with a soft “whoosh” sound as the letters move and a light “ding” sound when the circle finishes forming. The black-and-white color scheme adds a sharp, professional look. Positive Aspects: Great Movement: The way the text and circle move makes the logo more simple memorable. It kallows people to see the logo and read the information Nice Use of Sound: The sounds fit the animation perfectly. It made it feel polished and professional without being too much. Improvements: Adjust the Speed: The animation could be sped up a little to make it feel more smooth and intentional. This would make it easier for viewers to enjoy the details. Add a Background Effect: A soft gradient or light t...
